The Role of the President of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev in the Provision of 
Information During the Patriotic War (II. Karabakh)

Abstarct 
During the Patriotic (II Karabakh) War against the Armenians, the President of the 
Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev was on the front in the war and had another war that calls - 
the informational war. He gave more than 30 interviews to the world’s mass media. In this 
article, the President’s interviews are divided into the groups. Showed the Turkish TV 
channels and famous Arabian channels like “Al-Jazeera” and “Al-Arabia” Ilham Aliyev, 
above all, tried to convey the truth about the war and the right voice of Azerbaijan to the 
world public. He gave regular interviews to Russian media organizations. Ilham Aliyev's 
interviews with Russian media organizations had a material impact on the formation of 
opinions in favor of Azerbaijan in the Russian public. He calmly answered confusing, biased, 
and seditious questions from representatives of leading pro-Armenian and anti-Turkish media 
outlets in Western countries, refuting their accusations and exposing the biased position of the 
announcers, putting them in a scrape and ridiculous situation.These interviews turned into a 
real "master classes".
