Oʻzbekiston Respublikasining Qizil kitobi — Oʻzbekistonda yoʻqolib ketish xavfi ostida turgan va noyob oʻsimlik va hayvonot dunyosi turlari roʻyxatini oʻz ichiga olgan nashr. U Oʻzbekiston bioxilma-xilligini saqlash boʻyicha ish olib borayotgan olimlar, tadqiqotchilar va boshqa mutaxassislar uchun maʼlumotnoma boʻlib xizmat qiladi
Oʻzbekistonda oʻsimlik dunyosini muhofaza qilish va undan foydalanishni tartibga soluvchi, oʻsimlik dunyosi obyektlarining huquqiy holatini oʻrnatuvchi huquqiy meʼyor ham Asosiy qonunimizning 55-moddasida oʻz ifodasini topgan. Mazkur norma asosida bir qator qonunlar qabul qilingan. Tabiatni muhofaza qilish toʻgʻrisidagi „Oʻsimlik dunyosini muhofaza qilish va undan foydalanish toʻgʻrisida“gi, „Muhofaza qilinadigan tabiiy hududlar toʻgʻrisida“gi, „Oʻrmon toʻgʻrisida“gi qonunlar va boshqa normativ huquqiy hujjatlar shular jumlasidandir.
Oʻzbekiston Respublikasining “Oʻsimlik dunyosini muhofaza qilish toʻgʻrisida”gi qonuni 2001-yilda qabul qilingan boʻlib, yoʻqolib ketish xavfi ostida turgan oʻsimliklarni muhofaza qilishning huquqiy asoslarini belgilab beradi. Ushbu qonunning asosiy qoidalaridan ba'zilari quyidagilardan iborat:
1. O‘zbekiston Qizil kitobiga kiritilgan yo‘qolib ketish xavfi ostida turgan o‘simliklarni yig‘ish, saqlash, tashish, sotish va sotib olishni taqiqlash;
2. O'simliklarni saqlash, boshqarish va ulardan foydalanishni tartibga solish, shu jumladan ularning yashash joylari va ekotizimlarini himoya qilish choralari;
3. Buzilishlar uchun jazo, jumladan, jarima va qamoq jazosini ta'minlash.

The Red Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan is a document that contains information about rare and endangered species of plants and animals found in the country. It was first published in 1999 and has since been updated periodically to reflect new information and changes in the status of species. The Red Book lists over 600 plant species, including trees, shrubs, and herbs, that are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, overexploitation, and other human activities. Some of the most endangered species include the Tien Shan spruce, the Bukhara tulip, and the wild grapevine. In addition to the Red Book, there are several laws and orders in Uzbekistan that govern the use and conservation of the plant world. These include: 1. The Law on Flora and Fauna: This law regulates the protection and sustainable use of the country's natural resources, including plants. It establishes rules for the collection, transportation, and sale of plants, as well as penalties for violations. 2. The Law on Forests: This law governs the management and conservation of forest resources in Uzbekistan. It establishes rules for the use of forest lands, the protection of forest ecosystems, and the prevention of forest fires. 3. The Order on the Protection of Rare and Endangered Species of Plants: This order outlines measures for the protection and conservation of rare and endangered plant species, including the establishment of protected areas and the regulation of their use. 4. The Order on the Establishment of Botanical Gardens: This order establishes rules for the creation and management of botanical gardens, which serve as important centers for research, education, and conservation of plant species. Overall, these laws and orders aim to promote sustainable use and conservation of Uzbekistan's plant resources, ensuring that they are available for future generations.
