DESIGNING VOCABULARY TASKS

Actuality of the theme. Process of studying a foreign language promotes the formation of creative independence as there is a possibility of designing vocabulary tasks and exercises within the limits of the given subject which demands independent work from pupils. They are taught to use a language material for expression of their thoughts in a dialogical speech.
Teaching English can and should provide the achievement of practical, educational and developing aims. Besides, the practical purpose the leading. The other purposes are reached in the course of mastering English in the conditions of pupils' active informative of power of apprehension and activity. Pedagogy, guiding and synthesizing these aspects, defines vision of a problem from its specific point of view.
The aim of the qualification paper. In recent years there has been growing interest across the world in ways of designing vocabulary tasks for beginners. This interest has been fed by new knowledge about how the brain works and how beginners learn, and evidence that specific interventions can improve children’s thinking and intelligence. The particular ways in which people apply their minds to solving problems are called thinking skills. Many researchers suggest that thinking skills are essential to effective learning.
The object of the theme : Designing vocabulary tasks for beginners in the course of teaching a foreign language is the object of my qualification paper. With respect to the different task performance modes, this study assumes that a learner-centered interactive learning environment can facilitate L2 learners’ vocabulary acquisition more effectively than a non-interactive mode. Numerous studies concerned with the benefits of peer-interaction have found extensive support for its positive effects.
Practical value of qualification paper will arise the sincere interest of students and teachers to the problem of designing vocabulary tasks for beginners in teaching and learning English. This paper is determined by the fact that the developed material and proper tasks and exercises make available the use of this work as a manual in teaching a foreign language at classroom or as a useful material for elective additional courses of foreign language at schools, lyceums and colleges which are specialized in English. This study is on effective vocabulary teaching strategies employed by teachers in the English for Academic Purposes classroom, it is crucial to highlight the importance of academic vocabulary instruction in the English for academic Purposes ESL classroom.
