keyin ham kelishi mumkin (teskari so‘z tartibi).
1. Gapda there is birikmasi ishlatilgan bo‘lsa teskari so‘z tartibi 
ishlatiladi:
There is a telephone in that room.
U xonada telefon bor.
There was a meeting at the 
club yesterday.
Kecha klubda yig‘ilish bo‘ldi.

2. Muallif gapi ko‘chirma gapdan keyin kelganda va unda to say, to 
ask, to answer, to reply fe’llari ishlatilgan bo‘lsa, muallif gapida teskari 
tartib ishlatiladi. Agar ega kishilik olmoshidan yasalgan bo‘lsa, to‘g‘ri tartib 
ishlatiladi:
«I am glad to see you», said the old 
man.
«Sizni ko‘rishdan xursandman», 
dedi qariya.
«What is the matter with you?» 
asked the doctor.
«Sizga nima bo‘ldi?», so‘radi 
doktor. 
«I shall return the book tomorrow», 
replied my friend.
«Men kitobni sizga ertaga qay-
tarib beraman», dedi do‘stim.
Lekin:
«I don’t smoke», he said.
«Men chekmayman», dedi u.
Yuqoridagi fe’llar bilan hol kelganda ham teskari so‘z tartibi ishla tilishi 
mumkin:
«I am glad to see you»,
