* Old-type rails R65 and R75 with lateral wear of more than 8 and up to 18 mm,
which by all other parameters can be classified as I and II suitability groups, do not
go to the RRS, and lay in the track with a change of working edge.

established parameters rails are not subject to milling or gouging and re-laying in the
track without repair and sent as scrap.
Normative operating time of tonnage Tn for rails of the first laying is:
* for heat-strengthened rails of T1 category of type:
- P65 - 600 million tons gross (link track) and 700
million tons gross
(continuous track);
- P75 - 700 mln tonnes gross (track section) and 800 mln tonnes gross (track
without joints);
- P50 and lighter - 400 mln tons gross;
* For non-strengthened rails normative operating time of tonnage decreases by
1.5 times and is for rails of type:
