Describe a person who loves to grow plants
Well, in my opinion, growing plants is a hobby, which is gradually disappearing in recent years. This is because now most people feel gravitated towards cities, where the nature receives relatively little attention. Governments focus on constructing skyscrapers and forget that people also need gardens and places of natural beauty too.
Anyway, even though most people don’t have the opportunity to grow plants outside in cities, they find a way. One such person is my grandma. She’s been living in the city center, far away from her lovely garden in the countryside, for 15 years now and whenever I pay a visit to her at the weekends I realize how much she misses the countryside because she has a small balcony full of different plants in pots and stuff. She has so many of those pots with exotic plants that she started keeping some of them in the kitchen too. I don’t actually know where she gets hold of those types of plants, probably she has friends in her apartment block who share the same interests. Apparently, most plants reproduce in a very simple way, you bring a tiny part of a plant and you keep it in water and it starts to root and as soon as the root is big and strong enough, you now can move it to a special pot and water it on a regular basis and it grows and I have seem my grandma doing this several times.
I actually learnt all those things from my grandma and whenever she talks about her flowers I see passion in her eyes. So, because of this, I always try to find a flower she doesn’t have in order to gift it to her, which is of course difficult.

Describe a Time When You Saw a lot of Plastic Waste (e.g. in a park, on the beach, etc.)
Well, plastic waste has become a major issue all around the world and plastic is actually one of the biggest polluters not because it’s produced massively but because it’s not biodegradable meaning once is it discarded in the ocean or land, it just stays there forever. And plastic waste has more far reaching effects than just polluting streets because it can enter the food chain through the fish that consume microplastic.
Anyway, I do not visit beaches a lot and parks in my country are one of the cleanest places. Yes, you can see plastic bottles here and there but that’s practically it. So, I actually haven’t seen a place with plastic waste in person, so I’ll probably talk about one of the scenes from my favorite TV show called ‘Scorpion’
So, in the movie, a team of scientists comes up with a solution to get rid of the plastic in the oceans. What they do is that they create a type of bacteria that feed on plastic and they release those bacteria into the parts of the Atlantic ocean with the highest amount of plastic. There, I saw islands made of plastic. I know that sounds strange but the thing is as people dispose of their plastic by throwing them the ocean, all this plastic is gathered in one place in the ocean due to ocean currents and they create huge chunks of plastic and they just float there. To be honest, I couldn’t believe it first and then I did some research and found that it was actually true. And I was convinced we, humans, pose a huge threat to the environment and unless we take good care of it, it can have devastating consequences.
