improper re-solidification. So, certain compounds should be added to boost
thermal conductivity, stabilize the shape, and overcome other disadvantages
that lead to higher efficiency and energy production. The most prevailing and
cost-effective option to increase heat transfer rate is expanded graphite
which enhances thermal stability.[5] Additionally, polyethylene glycol and
porous carbon composite materials are utilized to form the shape
stabilization of PCM.[6]
