Bidyut Saha 2015).Green surfactant is produced from a variety of different
resources. Nowadays, companies prefer palm oil, although surfactants can
also be synthesized from WCO, coconut oil and yeast. However, several
factors make WCO appear more appropriate, such as the fact that it is the
most abundant raw material in our location and is far less expensive than
other raw materials. Furthermore, using WCO
in the production of new
products reduces the risk of unfavorable environmental consequences
(Sharrel Rebello, Aju K. Asok, Sathish Mundayoor, M. S. Jisha 2014).
