was studied against gram-positive strains of Staphylococcus aureus and
gram-negative strains of Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii,
Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It was found that
these novel Schiff bases showed more inhibitory activity in comparison with
the known antibiotics (Cefotaxime and Ceftriaxone), which are used as the
reference compounds.
