Сегодня невозможно жить без технологий. Не будет ошибкой сказать, 
что они охватывают все аспекты нашей жизни. Мы используем технологии, особенно 
цифровые, для различных целей каждый день. Их появление привело к изменениям в 
различных сферах нашей жизни: географическая удаленность утратила свое значение в 
общении с людьми, необходимость каждый день ходить на работу и сидеть в офисе 
уменьшилась, банковская и расчетная работа теперь выполняется дома, мы изучаем онлайн
-
курсы и осваиваем новые профессии, не выходя из дома. Все это привело к появлению новых 
понятий в нашем языке и созданию различных удобств в нашей жизни. Язык и технологии 
невозможно представить отдельно. Когда при создании технологий используются разные 
языки программирования, создаваемый продукт способствует развитию языка и его 
обогащению неологизмами. В настоящее время все новые понятия в нашем обществе 
приводят к переименованию старых понятий, и в результате наш словарный запас 
продолжает обогащаться ретронимами. В этой статье мы рассмотрим роль технологий в 
появлении ретронимов.

Abstract:
Today, it is impossible to live without technology. It would not be incorrect to say 
that it covers all aspects of our lives. We use technology, especially digital technology, for various 
purposes every day. Its appearance has led to changes in various areas of our lives: geographical 
remoteness has lost its importance in communicating with people; the need to go to work and sit in 
the office every day has decreased; banking and settlement work are now done at home; we study 
online courses and master new professions without leaving home. All of this has led to the 
emergence of new concepts in our language and the creation of various amenities in our lives. 
Language and technology cannot be imagined separately. When different programming languages 
are used to create technology, the product being created contributes to the development of the 
language and its enrichment with neologisms. Nowadays, all new concepts in our society lead to the 
renaming of old concepts, and as a result, our vocabulary continues to be enriched with retronyms. 
In this article, we will look at the role of technology in the emergence of retronyms.
