understand that he cannot be studied, but he moves the characters as subjects in the plot line. For 
this reason, the stories of Luqmon Borikhon cannot be imagined without real life, vivid scenes are 
formed before the eyes of the reader, and artistic images act as subjects, not as objects. The name of 
the story is directly related to the thoughts of Toshmurod Tajang, in his eyes, Samandar Salimov is 
"white-skinned, tall, short, curly hair smooth, soft. You are a girl with big eyebrows and eyes. 
Samandar Salimov, another image that served to form the concept of the author in the story, is 
presented to the reader through the portrait of Toshmurod Tajang. The fact that the urban teacher is 
completely different from the rural people, that he is not oppressed by hard work, and that he has 
not tasted the stone fist of life, creates a good reason to call him “bodi” (boda) in the eyes of the 
crown prince. We know that the word “bodi” is derived from Persian and is mainly used in classical 
literature to refer to the wind. But based on the content of the story, the term "bodi" is used here in 
the meaning of “concerned”, “grumpy”, and this meaning exactly corresponds to the assessment of 
the teacher by Toshmurod Tajang. In the mind of the reader, Suleiman Salimov, who appeared 
through Toshmurod Tajang, came to teach history in the village of Terakli, and the event that 
caused Toshmurod to come to his house and give him “admonition” was the death of Toshmurod . 
We can find out that the girl is Nurmat through the text of the dialogue that came to life in Tajang’s 
mind: 
“Nurmat is a very intelligent and talented boy. But it is necessary to create conditions for 
him to prepare lessons. It is necessary to engage less in household chores. 
“Brother, don't be silent, don't touch us, it's better for the child to harden his bones in hard 
work”. Sooner or later it will happen anyway. He finished school in one go. I will immediately cut 
his head in two and his legs in four. 
- Uncle, stop talking like that, Nurmat still needs to study. 
- Well, brother, no scholar came from our generation. Besides, would a village boy be deaf 
when he studied?!”[1:306]. 
Under the influence of the social environment, it was certainly not possible for the caretaker 
Toshmurod Tajang to act in a different way as a way to save black labor. In order to understand 
that only a person who is healthy, not only physically, but mentally is perfect, an extraordinary 
event that makes a radical change in his life, at least, shows how great a thing it is to get an 
education in his village. Someone had to step up and be an example to the villagers. In this sense, 
this image was created by the author in a very natural and reliable way. Through this image, the 
writer was able to create a general image of rural workers and prove that literature can hold a mirror 
to people in the real world and illuminate their inner image. The painful issue written in the story 
has not lost its relevance, as long as there are fathers in the form of Toshmurod Tajang, the state of 
indifferent attitude to science will remain. 
The image of Samandar Salimov, which Luqmon Borikhon was able to bring to the level of 
character, at the end of the work creates a real upheaval in the thoughts and consciousness of 
Toshmurod Tajang. At this point, we can say that, as literary critic Dilmurod Kuronov correctly 
stated, the artistic conceptual function of literature is realized through character, that is, the current 
state of society is artistically researched through character(s) and a holistic artistic concept is 
developed. . This is exactly what the author wants to convey to the reader that the image of 
Samandar Salimov is worthy of being an example for the whole society.
The history teacher's accidental death in a car accident forms the culmination of the work, 
but the solution ends with Toshmurod hearing unexpected information for Tajang. The 
extraordinary unexpectedness of the solution is characteristic of Luqmon Borikhon’s stories. The 
author, who gradually prepares the reader for that unexpected solution, appropriately uses the car 
accident scene at the climax of the work. After all, Toshmurod had to go to Tajang district center to
