Luqmon Borikhon’s work occupies a special place in the annals of contemporary Uzbek
prose. Non-repeating images, harmony of expression and image, artistic plot based on life and other
aspects determine the artistic skill of the writer. In a number of stories of the writer, the image of
the architects of the nation's spirituality is created - teachers and mentors. In particular, he creates
the image of teachers with different characters in a series of stories such as “Begimkul katta”,
“Dard”, “Anxiety from the desert”, “Shaharlik o‘qituvchi” (“Teacher from city”).
Luqmon Borikhon’s story “Teacher from city” is one of the stories
that show the subtle
style of the writer's work. The fact that the story is free of dry narration, the presence of a language
specific to the characters, the ability to show the existing conditions as they exist, and the relevance
of the written environment are the main tools that ensure the vitality of the story. The hero of the
story, Toshmurod , who lives in the village of Terakli, appears as a typical representative of simple,
illiterate rural workers, hard-working. At the beginning of the story, it is stated that Toshmurod
Tajang had a bad taste. The author describes this knot by describing
the spiritual journeys and
painful emotions that passed through Toshmurod’s heart.
We know that in many stories of Luqmon Borikhon, the emotional state of characters, that
is, associativeness prevails. Starting the plot line from the nervous state of the character, which is
still unknown to the reader, he uses the image itself to explain it, that is, he abruptly shifts to the
image of feelings: "After all, there is more nonsense Did a city girl who had not yet left his mother's
milk teach him wisdom?! Did he listen to the teachings of his ancestors that he did
not hear from his
ancestors?! Why are you not creating conditions for the children of Toshmurod to get an
education? It seems that they are burying them in their livelihood. Yes, what's surprising about that,
what's wrong with that?" The fact that the hero of the story is in a whirlwind of such thoughts pulls
him towards the past memories, and the childhood memories that he is preparing to prove that he is
right in his own way are closing in like a vortex.
The environment in which Toshmurod Tajang grew up, the life of the village, where he did
not have the opportunity to learn, and his shoulders were
burdened by endless worries, creates a
vivid reality before the eyes of the reader: “...He followed the herd of the kolkhoz because he was
small like a finger. A hoe ran in the field. No one has mercy. No one is sorry that you will remain
illiterate. Again, his father would jerk: "We didn't have a mullah in seven years, did you get a horn
when you read it?”
Having lived through such dreams, Toshmurod got used to his fate, later on, he was not less
in touch with his father, he was satisfied with his fate that he married
a son and gave birth to
daughters, because he was not a man of knowledge, he It seems that the reader understands well
that he is not interested in putting his children to the path of science,
the author somewhere
mentions that Toshmurod Tajang is illiterate and illiterate, that science is only used to boil the
