Vibration Analysis of Fluid-Carrying Elastic Pipes
In this study, vibrations of elastic pipes which are used for fluid flow examined mathematically. A fourth order differential equation dependent of time and spatial-coordinates that represent dynamic displacements on pipe that occur because of forces during flow is given. This equation is non-dimensionalized and eigenvalues for dimensionless flow speed are calculated by writing characteristic equation. Mod shapes are drawn for different eigenvalues.
