THE 3
rd
INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES OF STUDENTS AND YOUNG RESEARCHERS
dedicated to the 99
th
anniversary of the National Leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev
268
As a result, throughout the research, required systems, control strategy
and techniques were accomplished. The proper communication protocol was
selected, control logic and algorithms were established. The project output
documents, such as I/O list, instrument index, loop/interconnection
diagrams, cause & effect diagram have been developed. In addition, for the
coming year's curriculum, laboratory work instructions have been created.

Many industrial processes require the accurate measurement and tight
automatic control of fluid or solid (powder, granule, etc.) height within a vessel,
because it is through the proper control of levels that the desired production
rates are achieved. Advantages commonly attributed to automatic level control
include improved safety, enhanced environmental and equipment protection,
smooth plant operation and higher production rates, higher product quality,
profit optimization, easier monitoring, and diagnosis, to name just a few.
Level control encompasses a wide variety of technologies that sense
and provide control feedback on fluid levels in tanks, vats, silos etc. The
decision on which to select and implement depends on the actual required
function of the process whether it is maintaining level at its desired value,
preventing chemicals from overflowing from storage tanks, or preventing
storage facilities from emptying completely. In this project, the primary
objective was to design a level control loop which continuously monitors the
level in a tank and maintains it at the predefined point. To achieve this
objective, many technologies including, but not limited to, non-contact level
