Tourism is an area of activity that paves the way for global integration at the global level and has a 
positive effect on domestic regional development efforts. For this reason, promoting tourism in less 
developed regions and ensuring regional development is supported by strong funds in EU Member States. 
The role of this sector in the economy of the Union is very important. It was recognized by EU politicians 
that tourism was an important source of reducing regional disparities and employment. The most important 
EU aid for tourism comes from the Regional Development Fund. The world is one of the largest tourism 
zones in the EU, with 40% of tourism revenues. About 8 million people are directly involved in the tourism 
sector. It is expedient to use the EU's policy to boost the use of tourism potential in regional development. 
Natural beauty and cultural richness play an important source of income that can have a positive effect 
on the economic balance of countries and regions when used correctly and rationally. Tourism-oriented 
cultural development tools are known as conference centers, recreation parks, alternative tourism,

preserves, cultural centers. Conference centers, both organized by the public and private sectors, bring 
economic revival to the region where they are located, and give a dynamic vision to the region. 
Recreational parks, which are among the leisure-time recreational facilities, also increase the attractiveness 
of the region. It is very important to reflect the traditions of the country in the organized entertainment and 
leisure activities. Tourists will have the opportunity to enjoy the country on the one hand. The 
transformation of natural and historical resources into a specific tourism product in different ways in the 
region forms alternative tourism. There are many influences such as employment in the region, extension 
of the tourist season, attractiveness and image enhancement. Reserves are used both for attraction centers 
and for enrichment of tourism activities. Museums created for the purpose of evaluating the cultural assets 
are a tool for the development of tourism in the region. The use of tourism-oriented cultural development 
tools leads to the creation of unsafe tourism. 
One of the important tasks undertaken by the state is to create a necessary environment for tourism. 
Instead of organizing tourism in the state itself, it should oversee the people and organizations that make up 
the education. Therefore, the steps to be taken are to define the standards of education, to encourage 
entrepreneurs and to create an environment that provides documentation for the trainees. 
It is crucial that certain work be carried out to form the education in tourism and to make the work 
even more productive. Analysis of existing tourism education system, reorganization of tourism education 
system, identification of personnel, increase of productivity, increase of staff potential, promoting the 
development of education tools, and orientation of youth vocational training to tourism are very topical. 
The use of new information technologies in this direction is also important. 
The income sector of the tourism sector, which is part of a multi-sectoral relationship, increases the 
employment, although there are positive outcomes in the use of natural resources, there are also some 
negative circumstances. The optimization of both impacts and the most effective utilization of tourism 
potential remains a topical issue today.
