Grammar notes: Adverbs of manner 
We use an adverb after verb form for expressing the action with the help of suffix – ly. For 
example: careful+ly, wonderful+ly; Lucy
 can take photos wonderfully.
 
Only to these words we cannot add - ly: well, hard, fast. Example: 
I hope that he will do it 
well

Suffixes: act v + -or 

actor n run -er = runner 
music n + -ian 

musician n cartoon n + -ist 

cartoonist
