Of all the types of places mentioned, I would be thrilled to go on a tropical vacation. This is
mostly because I would be able to wear my favorite clothing type. I absolutely love wearing a
swimsuit and skirt in the tropical weather. There’s nothing like walking on a warm sandy beach with
the warm sun on your skin and the cool ocean breeze blowing around you. Furthermore, when I go on
vacation to a tropical environment, I would have a lot less to pack than if I went to let’s say a
Siberian climate. This is because I’d be outdoors most of the time, so all I would really need is some
tank tops, shorts, skirts, flip-flops, and other basic necessities. I tend to over pack when I go
anywhere, so this type of vacation would lessen my chances of doing this. Because I could wear my
favorite clothing and I wouldn’t have the need to lug around heavy luggage, I would chose to spend
my vacation time in a tropical place.

My family is a very geographically dispersed type family, so when we get together, we like to
have fun. One way we do this is by going to the shore every summer. While we are at the shore, we
go mini golfing. There are about 30 of us gathered all together; being my uncles, aunts, cousins,
parents and siblings. We divide up into equal teams and take over the miniature golf course. Our
favorite mini-golf location is a dinosaur one located in Naggs Head, North Carolina. My family is
also highly competitive, but I don’t follow in this suit. Because of this, we keep a careful eye on each
other’s teams to ensure that no one is cheating. Whoever is the losing team, they have to pay for
everybody else’s rounds of golf that day! My dad, older sister, younger brother and I are usually one
team. Most of the time, we rank in the top three, so I love my team! Even though we are in heavy
competition with each other, we still have an enjoyable time with each other while we are mini-
golfing every summer at the beach.
