Q235. What is the most important job or task you have ever had?
Why was it important?
A. Sample Answer
The most important job I have ever had was babysitting when I was in high school. To begin
with, babysitting requires a huge amount of skill. First of all, you need to know how to change
diapers. This is a smelly, yet necessary, task. You also have to be able to cook meals and not burn
down the house in the process. Lastly, you have to keep the children entertained so that they don’t
turn on you and refuse to cooperate with you. Another reason why it is important is because a child’s
life is in your hands. You have to constantly stay alert. The parents entrusted you with their child’s
life. That’s a pretty big deal. You can’t be lazy and text on your cell phone while the child wanders
off on his own. You must be diligent and engaged. If you mess up, you could severely endanger the
life of the child. That’s not a mistake you can simply erase and do over again. Therefore, I believe
that the most important job I have had was when I was a baby sitter in high school.
