Q239. Some people say that the quality of a product is more
important. Others say that the price of a product is more
important. Which statement do you agree with and why?
A. Sample Answer
I think the quality of a product is much more important than the price of that product. Firstly, you
won’t have to repurchase a quality product often. For example, I once purchased a laptop computer
simply because it was cheaper. Unfortunately, the quality of the product was as cheap as the price.
Within a few months, I had to purchase a new computer due to issues with my cheap one. I would
have saved myself lots of money had I simply purchased the higher quality computer in the first
place. Furthermore, prices can be deceiving. I have a friend who purchased expensive makeup that
ended up performing worse on her skin than a drugstore brand. She should have done her research
and not simply let the price of the makeup persuade her to purchase it. To conclude, choosing a
product based on quality versus price is the only way to ensure your satisfaction.
