Spoken style


This form of presentation of information into the realm of everyday communication of people that leave traces on his features. The most widely used colloquial types and styles of speech. The table below will describe what they do unlike other types.
Morphology conversational style: the prevalence of multiple verbs, one-time actions, extensive use of pronouns, minimal use of participles and gerunds.

Artistic style


This type is used for writing works. Lexical features of this type are: synonymy, occasionalisms, idioms, tropes, using words in a figurative sense.
The Morphological features of the artistic style are the extensive use of adjectives, adverbs, verbs, predominance of female and neuter nouns.
Syntactically art it uses all the variety of structures of the Russian language. Genres of this style are: short story, novel, Novella, ode, poem.

Types of speech. Table


The content side of speech characterize communicative ways of expression of ideas that determine how types of speech. These include narration, description and argument. Let us consider the types of speech. The table will help to a better understanding.
So, the narrative - verbal method of expression of ideas in dynamic development. Narrative has the following composition: exposition - development - climax - denouement. Narrative characterized by the use of verbs and adverbs. This method of presentation is most typical of journalistic, artistic and conversational styles of speech.
Description – this type of presentation of information that “draws” objects, natural phenomena, reports of their assessment. Composite this kind of speech constructed as follows: a General idea about the subject – individual characteristics – conclusions, author's judgment. To describe is characterized by the use of continuous verbs, simple, incomplete, impersonal sentences.
Argument – this type of speech, which presents the causal relationships, which leads to the following structure: thesis-argument-conclusion. For reasoning characterized by the use of introductory words and complex syntactic structures.
