Monitoring
Little is known about potential long-term health effects of bio-terrorism-related 
 Bacillus anthracis 
infection. Given the chronic mental and physical health problems associated with victims of bio-
terrorism, close follow-up is recommended. Physical rehabilitation and psychiatric care should be paired
to maximise improvement in health-related quality of life. No definitive guidelines for follow-up exist;
frequency of monitoring should be determined on a case-by-case basis.
