Fayoztepa is located in the Old Termez region. An archeological team led by L.I. Albaum excavated the monument. As a result, Buddhist statues and places where Buddhists gather were studied. A joint Uzbek-Japanese archeological team is excavating the monuments, which have been exhibited several times in Japan. E.Rtveladze conducted archeological excavations in Surkhandarya region and recorded more than 130 monuments on the archeological map of the region, most of which date back to antiquity.At the same time, archeological sites such as Khalchayon, Hyderabad, Mirzakoltepa, Oysaritepa have been studied. G.A. Pugachenkova conducted excavations at the monument to Khalchayon and studied the palace of the ruler, where statues of horsemen and people were found.
2.3 Archeological monuments in Khorezm and Karakalpakstan Ayazqala It consists of three monuments (Ayazqala 1, 2, 3). Frost Castle 1 was built on a natural hill. Castle miles. It was built in the IV-III centuries. It was used as a settlement in the beginning of VII-VIII centuries, in XIII century. Today, a campground of black houses near the castle serves tourists.
Ayazqala, Karakalpakstan Toprakkala built in 1-4 centuries BC. The size of the castle is 500 × 350 m. It is rectangular, excavated from the outside of the fortress, surrounded by fortified walls, the height of which reached 8-9 m. In the corner is a palace with three minarets. The street, which started from the castle gate, divided the castle in two, and the two sides of the street were divided into neighborhoods (mostly artisan neighborhoods), part of which was filled with pyramid structures. In one of the castle buildings were found the horns of a mountain ram with a gold-plated bronze bracelet, surrounded by a large number of glass vessels, ornaments, alabaster figurines, murals (dancing masks) , In the "Hall of Soldiers" - statues of soldiers, and in the "Hall of Kings" - statues of kings made of unbaked clay15vii.
