RHETORIC AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION Bekhzod Rakhmankulovich SULTANOV, Senior teacher of English language and literature department, Gulistan State University Abstract: The article discusses the importance of studying rhetoric by
students of various, including linguistic directions; the purpose of rhetoric is defined:
the reasons for the need to intensify the study of rhetoric are characterized; it is
said about the learning system, an obligatory component of which is speech culture
and knowledge of the basics of successful communication. The requirements for an
educated person are also considered; the main forms of work in a higher educational
institution in the formation of rhetorical skills are detailed; the importance of the
formation of cultural and rhetorical competence of students aimed at mastering
rhetorical knowledge, skills and abilities that are necessary for the ability to
communicate, the ability to perceive and reproduce literate speech, express their own
thoughts, while revealing a highly intellectual level of development is substantiated.
