Cellulose: The polysaccharide cellulose, which is the most significant skeletal
component in plants, is a nearly limitless polymeric raw material with
intriguing structure and characteristics [1]. The highly functionalized, linear
stiff-chain homopolymer characterized by its hydrophilicity, extensive
chemical modifying capacity, biodegradability, chirality, and production of
varied semicrystalline fiber morphologies is formed by the repetitive
connecting of D-glucose building blocks [2]. New horizons in cellulose
research and applications are emphasized, including ecologically friendly
cellulose fiber technologies, bacterial cellulose biomaterials, and in-vitro
cellulose syntheses, as well as future targets, strategies, and views of
cellulose research and applications [Klemm, 2005, 1-3]. In this thesis, the
way of production cellulose from food product waste is provided from which
eco-friendly paper can be produced. As food product, peanut shell is used.
Peanut: Peanut is a prostrate southern Brazilian plant the other name of which is
Arachis hypogaea which is cultivated in tropical and warm temperature
regions [American heritage, 2016].

Kraft process: The Kraft process is the most widely used pulping method in the board
and paper business, yet it also produces the most lignin. This pulping
process goes under high temperature and pressure. The anions which are
hydroxide and hydrosulfide react with the lignin during this process, fragmenting
