The biological activity investigation of the novel azomethine was
performed against gram-positive strains of Staphylococcus aureus and gram-
negative strains of Escherichia coli, Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella
pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In addition to it, obtained results
were also compared with the activity of the known antibiotics (Cefotaxime and
Ceftriaxone), which are used as the reference compounds. Obtained results
showed high antibacterial activity against all mentioned bacteria and in some
cases, it was even higher than the activities of antibiotics.
