culture, traditions and national characteristics, comprehending the qualities inherent in a symbolic
nation, while at the same time increasing interest in the national characteristics of other nations.
To date, a lot of work is being done on modern systematization, study and analysis of the
subject "Pedagogy and Psychology". From a scientific point of view, the thoughts and ideas of
medieval figures, the writings of our enlighteners who glorified the language, religion, culture,
customs and way of life of our people, songs of our peoples, educational games, statements of great
thinkers of the East, the glory of the heroes who defended the motherland are collected and
processed.
The subject "Pedagogy and Psychology" is a subject that studies respect for the language of
the individual, reverence for religion, the formation of the essence, adaptation to national customs.
A teacher teaching students should use today's achievements in a certain situation.
The purpose of the subject "Pedagogy and Psychology" is the education of a full–fledged
personality who has developed a sense of national identity, who can contribute to the formation of
national interests, link national and universal values. If we define the scientific and pedagogical
foundations of national education in folk pedagogy, then the national identity of young people is
being improved, personal qualities are being comprehensively developed, and therefore it becomes
possible to familiarize students with world values together with their national characteristics.
The main content aspects of the subject "Pedagogy and Psychology" are based on the
categories of national consciousness, national language, national culture, national essence, national
traditions and customs, on the basic bases of national education of students of Uzbekistan. In this
case, the subject "Pedagogy and Psychology" will undoubtedly improve the quality of education,
given the full provision of directions in traditional classical pedagogical education [4].
As a problem that needs to be paid special attention to is the definition of topics related to
education. As an example, we offer some of them: national games, proverbs, winged words of the
Uzbek, Karakalpak peoples, the meaning of education, kinship relations. Issues of upbringing that
distinguish the upbringing of a girl, the upbringing of a boy, the upbringing of a daughter-in-law,
the upbringing of a young man. We focus on the role of national education in regulating relations
between family members, traditions and customs peculiar to our peoples, human values of the
peoples of Uzbekistan, the importance and role of religion in teaching national education.
The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 12.05.2018 N PP-3721 "On
the organization of competitions among young people for book lovers in order to widely study and
promote the creative heritage of our great scientists, poets and thinkers" indicates the need for a
broad affirmation in society of the values of humanism and kindness, improving the intellectual and
cultural level of the population, especially youth, expanding her outlook, the upbringing of a
harmoniously developed younger generation [3].
Among the five important initiatives put forward by the Head of our State to establish on the
basis of a new system of work in the social, spiritual and enlightenment spheres, the most important
are:
• introducing and increasing the interest of young people in music, fiction, theater and other
genres of art, the manifestation of their talent and talents by the younger generation;
• organization of systematic work to increase the spirituality of young people, the love of
reading.
The basic values are not localized in the content of a particular academic discipline, form or
type of educational activity. They permeate the entire educational content, the whole way of student
life, all the multifaceted activities of the student as a person, personality, citizen.
The system of national values creates the semantic basis of the space of spiritual and moral
development of the individual [6].
