4 CONCLUSIONS
Given university curricula’s constant need for development as well as certain difficulties that students
might face on their way to a foreign language proficiency, conditions should be created in which
studies will mean more than a learning activity, sparking interest and enhancing the performance of
students. It is crucial that university teachers involved in the development of course materials and
textbooks take into consideration the abundance of digital sources chosen by their students as a
hobby, which can benefit the process of language acquisition immensely. Merging the intelligent
content of cable and satellite networks and numerous internet sources preferred by students with the
academic content of traditional textbooks or incorporating them into classroom activities, tutors can
provide learners higher academic results with a reduced amount of tension and criticism on the part of
the latter.
