Cost Analysis of The Seedling in The Forest Nursery
The aim of this study is to determine cost of produced seedling with stage cost method, determination of cost of production of 1+0 year old, bare roadeted Cedar, Crimean Pine and Black Locust seedlings, and 2+0 age bare roadeted Crimean Pine which prefer to afforestation. Break even point was determined for each of them.
In the study, unit time of engine work is shorter than nonengine work. Unit time of nursery work showed differences between coniferous and broad leaved were determined. Unit time of operationals can be used to calcute cost of seedling unless the nursery conditionals are changed. In addition to this fact input price should be revise every year.
Research results Eskişehir Forest Nursery has 1+0 year old bare roadeted seedlings Cedar 0.39 TL cost of production, 1+0 year old bare roadeted seedlings of Crimean Pine 0.38 TL cost of production, 1+0 year old bare roadeted seedlings of Black Locust cost of production is calculated as 0.44 TL. Afforestation work preferred production of 2+0 age bare roadeted Crimean Pine was found as cost 0.26 TL.
The calculated costs, according to three different units for all sampling species were determined for saling price. Production volume and production costs are taken into consideration, nurseries, through the profit that enables it to unit sales price, 10 old bare rooted seedlings for Crimean Pine 0.40 TL and 0.42 TL, 10 old bare rooted seedlings Cedar 0.42 TL, and 10 old bare rooted Black Locust seedlings was calculated as 0.47 TL and 0.49 TL. 20 old bare rooted Crimean Pine seedlings unit sales price of 0.27 TL, 0.29 TL and is suitable for the nursery have been identified.
