Earned Value Method and Application in the Service Procurements Contract Type
Within this study, the general information, description and classification about the project were done. Information about the project management approach, development and functions were give shortly. The project risk management and evaluation of risk had been emphasized in our study.
In the extent of constitution of project plans, network diagrams were samplised with illustrations. The network techniques were detailed. Specially the development and the extent of the subject of CPM (critical path method) were examined.
In this study the usage of the resource in the project management were searched. Assignment, stabilization and planning of the resource were examined. Project schedule management which had included CPM techniques cost/schedule analyze, relationships with cost were investigated.
The earned valued concept was inspected, definitions were made, the components and formulations of the earned valued were worked, related graphics of the components and the commentment of the graphics were examined. The techniques of EVMS were examined, the choice of the techniques that will be used in which project were investigated, the criterias and the methods of the system were examined. The concepts of EVMS were examined in a sample to illustrate in a easy way.
The general introduction was made about the application project, in the scope of the project management, the time and resource plans of the project were made and earned valued calculations were made in three divisions schedule and cost variances were examined. This study had been done to investigate the precautions for protecting from the negative effect of variance.
