environment at the beginning of the 20th century in the idea of national self-
awareness having a leading position in the literary and cultural life of the entire
Turkic world, including Azerbaijan and Turkestan, and occupying a wide place in
the horizons of fiction. It is true that in the mentioned period, there were individual
literary figures and prominent intellectuals in different parts of the Turkic world -
in Crimea, Kazan, Baku, Tashkent and other major cultural centers, striving for
national awakening and pan-Turkic unity. However, on the one hand, pressure and
persecution in colonial conditions, and on the other hand, lack of workers and
loneliness greatly limited the activities of the mentioned Turks and Turanians.
