ISAR-Azerbaijan's Training Program has announced a new training on the topic of Legal Issues for NGOs. The
training is open to representatives of initiative groups who are interested in creating NGOs. The training will cover
topics including
how to write a charter, documents needed for registration,
taxation for local NGOs, and other issues.

KNIP Fund of the Nether?lands Government Announces Grants for Environmental NGOs
The KNIP fund of the Netherlands government is designed for organizations that are active
in the field of green
nature. There is NO special application form to participate in the KNIP competition. All NGOs are invited to write their
proposals, which must meet following conditions:
Projects must be self-sustainable; .
Funding may not be spent on facility building (rent, wages, phone bills, overhead); .
Maximum funding per project should not exceed 2000 USD. Contact information of your organization and a proof of
registration .
Clear definition of the expected results/aim of the project;
Specification of type and length of activities;
Notification of earlier funding (local/national/international);
Separate and detailed budget, notification of own contribution/donations.
Deadline for project submission is May 30, 2001. The proposals can be submitted in English or Russian to the
