The article offers suggestions for the formation and increase of efficiency of
cooperation on the basis of the development of integrated relations in the system of cultivation and
processing of licorice in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Keywords:
licorice root, licorice extract, cooperation, vertical cooperation, horizontal
cooperation, cluster, association.
At the current stage of the development of the world economy, the expansion of cooperative
relations of agricultural producers with various infrastructure entities is considered one of the
priority directions for the development of the agro-industrial complex of leading countries.
Currently,
in most developed countries, cooperative relations between enterprises that grow and
process agricultural products is the most common economic form, "in countries such as Sweden,
Denmark, Norway, Finland, the Netherlands, and Japan, the cooperative movement is characterized
by almost 100 percent coverage of the agricultural population. . French and German cooperatives
combine at least 80 percent of all agribusiness. " The experience of developed countries shows that
cooperation, in particular,
a specialized agrocluster, allows farms producing raw materials to
achieve high efficiency, integrate agricultural work, increase the potential for processing and
exporting agricultural products.
A lot of research is being done on quality and guaranteed provision of agricultural raw
materials and food products needs of the population and economic sectors
in the context of the
globalization and competition processes intensifying, and the occurrence of global factors that
increase the instability of socio-economic development at the international level . Issues such as the
use of innovative approaches in the cultivation of agricultural products, the improvement of the
organizational and economic foundations of the introduction of medicinal plants and their
processing
technologies, the expansion of cooperative relationships in these processes, the use of
digital technologies and platforms for their effective organization, and the establishment of new
forms of cooperative cooperation are relevant in this regard. is one of the priority areas of scientific
research.
In Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the development
of the use of cooperative
relations in the cultivation and processing of agricultural products. As a result, "q agricultural
reforms, allotment of land areas to private clusters and cooperatives made it possible to increase
productivity in cotton growing by an average of 10% per year. About 500 clusters and cooperatives
have been established in fruit and vegetable growing, grain growing and cattle breeding. As a result,
despite the negative impact
of the pandemic, 1 billion dollars worth of fruits and vegetables were
exported".[1] In order to further increase the efficiency of these processes, the task of improving the
mechanisms of mutual cooperation (cooperation) in the production and sale of agricultural products
by farmers in our republic has been defined. In the development of cooperation and integration
relations, taking into account the agricultural specialization and "growth points" in the regions of
the republic, licorice plantations established in the Republic of Karakalpakstan in order to reduce
the level of salinity of agricultural lands and improve land reclamation are of great importance. The
priority direction of the development of the industry is to unite the
entities involved in the
production, sale, and export of licorice raw materials, processing, semi-finished products, and
value-added products for effective activity .
