THEME 6: WRITING: A LETTER OF APOLOGISE
APOLOGY LETTER
An apology letter is exactly what it sounds like. This is a letter that you craft that is intended for someone
else. In your apology letter, you need to let someone know that you regret what happened. You also need
to take responsibility for what happened and admit that you were wrong. It can be difficult to do this in a
cohesive way. Furthermore, you also need to swallow your pride when you write an apology letter. So,
how can you do this effectively? A good apology letter should do several things. First, it should have
knowledge that you are wrong. Second, it should contain a sincere apology letting the other person know
that you regret what happened. Finally, it should also let the other person know what you are going to do
to prevent this from happening again. If you can do all of this, you have written an apology letter.
