Резюме.
Ходжалинский геноцид стал одной из самых страшных и трагических страниц в исто-
рии Азербайджана. Неслучайно в 10-ю годовщину Ходжалинского геноцида общенациональный ли-
дер азербайджанского народа Гейдар Алиев обратился к азербайджанскому народу: «Этот жестокий 
акт геноцида – один из самых ужасных актов массового террора в истории человечества». 
Во время Ходжалинского геноцида 613 человек были убиты и 1000 мирных жителей разного воз-
раста получили инвалидность от пулевых ранений. 106 женщин погибли, 63 ребенка, 70 пожилых людей, 
8 семей были полностью уничтожены, 25 детей потеряли обоих родителей, один из родителей погиб у 
130 детей. В ночь трагедии в плен попали 1275 мирных жителя, судьба 150 из них до сих пор неизвестна. 
Все это осуществлялось армянскими военными с особой жестокостью и невообразимой дикостью.

Summary.
The Khojaly genocide is one of the most terrible and tragic pages in the history of 
Azerbaijan. It is no coincidence that on the 10th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, the national leader of 
the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev addressed the Azerbaijani people: "This brutal act of genocide is one 
of the most horrific acts of mass terror in human history."

During the Khojaly genocide, 613 people were killed and 1,000 civilians of different ages were 
disabled from bullet wounds. 106 women were killed, 63 young children, 70 elderly people, 8 families were 
destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, and one of the parents of 130 children died. On the night of the 
tragedy, 1,275 civilians were taken prisoner, and the fate of 150 of them is still unknown. All this was 
carried out by the Armenian military with special cruelty and unimaginable brutality.
