described ethnolinguistics as a special field in general language science, and its foundations.
According to scientist M. M. Kopilenko, the term "ethnolinguistics" was first created in world
science based on the idea of the foreign scientist B. Whorf, due to the intersection of ethnography
and sociology. Well, this idea became known as "Sepir-Whorf hypothesis" in science due to the
compatibility of E. Sepirdıń's linguistic facts with ethno-cultural and single-widow views [3, page
16].
It should be noted that a scientific school was formed around the science of ethnolinguistics
founded by academician D. A. Kaerdar, dedicated to the problems of Kazakh ethnolinguistics. The
category of "time", which was born in the Kazakh consciousness, was shaped by the way of life,
customs and worldview of each nation. Ethnolinguistic study of the category "time" gives an
opportunity to reveal its national differences, customs, self-recognition, etymological, semantic and
structural features. For example, everything in the world has a beginning and an end. A person
knows approximately or exactly the limit of each time. However, mankind never knows the limit of
their life. And he is not happy about it. That's true. This is the abstract concept of human cognition.
Therefore, the problem of time is an eternal problem. Time is an abstract concept. Again, time is the
cause of human perception and connection. The passage of time moves infinitely, precisely and
irreversibly. It is like reflecting and describing the time cycle of the people of this world.
As the people of the world move around in time, therefore, he incarnates and paints in thoughts in
various ways. For example, time is a period, one hour, the passage of your life, if we go further, it is
the relationship of people with building, lifestyle, history, religion. "Time is a treasure to those who
know it, but a treasure to those who don't know it", which gives the meaning of the speed of time,
not to waste it in vain, not to have regrets, to give useful work like gold Language associations that
express the idea that if you work hard, you will get a lot of wealth are time-related language
associations. For example, if we take the unit "time limit", we calculate the limit of time, feeling
powerless in front of time in the word "time does not pass", and in the word "finding time", it seems
that a person feels stronger than time. . From this we can see that there is a time limit.
In the langua- picture of the world, the natural law of human knowledge: the day and the week
(monthly year, seasons), happiness and light movement are involved.
The nomadic Kazakh population was related to the period of time when they moved in
summer summers, autumn summers and winter villages, and had different sizes corresponding to
the lifestyle of that time.
For example, even though there were no concepts of seconds, minutes, hours, days, months,
and years in those times, they were able to measure and evaluate them with the help of body parts
and other measurement associations. For example, the second can be estimated as follows: if the
movement of the body parts between the eyebrows and the eyes correctly perceives the seconds,
instead of measuring the meaning of the minute, "milk curd" (or ) means the passage of time as in
sut pisemen or "gósh pisiriw", "gósh qaynatıw", "et asıw", "as pisiriw", "shay qaynatıw" means
minutes and hours using language associations that have become phraseological associations hour
turned into phraseological associations that express the meaning.
Philosopher-scientist M. Orinbekov says that for the ancient Kazakhs, the concept of time is
related to the perception of the change of day and night, the understanding of consciousness,
therefore, the concepts of year, period, and time are meaningless for them [4, 101 - b. ].
After the introduction of Islam, time-telling dimensions were formed according to the religious
program. Those dimensions are still used today in religious practices, such as praying and fasting
among others. For example, there are five times of prayer: Morning prayer (Bamdat) (the time of
morning prayers), Khurshid is called five times (the time of five times of prayer), Pesin (the time
between dawn), Asr (pesinnen soń, pesin and candle the time between ), Sham (the time when the
sun goes down and enters the nest), Kuptan (night time), fasting: the time of fasting (the time after
