A. Sample Answer
A person who has inspired me is my younger sister for two main reasons. Firstly, she has
struggled for almost 10 years with an incurable disease that most people don’t develop until they are
in their latter half of their lives. She is only 28 years old but has not been able to walk on her own
without the aid of crutches for just about a decade now. Imagine being a young mom of three and not
being able to hold your own children, walk about with them, and play with them, like other young
mothers can do. Secondly, she never was afforded the opportunity to attend college, but now, she has
taken advantage of the opportunity that was presented to her. As I said previously, she has three
children, so attending university classes is a massive challenge to her. However, she leans on her
husband, friends, and family for support. She always holds her head up high and doesn’t listen to the
others who try to discourage her from doing anything she puts her mind to. Because of her strong
will, stubbornness, and persistence, I am inspired by my younger sister every day.
