Abstract. The article provides a cultural analysis of sustainable development projects in solving global
problems of our time. It is reported that the geometric increase in the number of people on Earth is not only a
numerical effect, but is also accompanied by man-made impacts. Because of this, there is a violation of the
ecological balance in nature, which leads humanity to an unexpected catastrophe.
The article uses the methods of general, comparative analysis, philosophical generalization and
historical and chronological analysis.
As a novelty, it can be noted that for the first time in the domestic literature, the content of the main
technogenic factors affecting society was given, along with a cultural analysis of sustainable development
projects in solving global problems, signs of destructive development trends were noted, as well as creative
features of scientific and technological progress.
