and students’ math anxiety. The research is designed using the phenomenological
approach, which is one of the qualitative research methods. A semi-structured
interview form developed by the researchers is used as the data collection tool. The
data is analyzed through coding, sub-themes, themes, and content analysis using
the phenomenological method. The study comprehensively addresses the current
issues in mathematics education and provides solutions. Recommendations include
teachers receiving more training, implementing new teaching methods, utilizing
technology effectively, providing support for students to overcome math anxiety,
and revising the curriculum. In conclusion, various steps need to be taken to address
the current issues in mathematics education. Teachers and educational systems
addressing these problems and generating effective solutions will enhance the
quality of mathematics education. The study also provides recommendations for
addressing the shortcomings encountered in mathematics instruction.
