Recently, synthesis transition-metal chalcogenide nanocrystals on polymer matrix have major significance due to their
thermal, mechanical, electrical, catalytical, optical properties for potential applications in nanoelectronic devices, such as
light emitting diodes (LED), solar cells, nanoscale lasers, photodetectors, etc. These classes of novel composites are very
different from the conventional composites which incorporate a variety of additives in polymer matrices. They usually
exhibit improved performance and have or will have great potential applications. Optical properties of the semiconductor
nanoparticles enhances when compared to that of its bulk size. In the semiconductor nanoparticles, optical properties
enhancement have been attributed to the modification of surface morphology.
