with the experience. SPSS Version 27 was used to analyse the quantitative data. The
qualitative responses were transcribed into QSR NVivo 12 Plus data management pro-
gram to identify the students’ satisfaction with m-learning.
The demographic data of the students was gathered at the beginning of the first term,
including their age, laptop ownership status, readiness to bring their computers to
school and programming skills. These profiles are summarised in Table 2.

In the treatment group, the average student age was 19. Over half the students
(57.1%) had laptops, but 71.4% of students never or rarely bring laptops to class. Most
students (85.7%) rated their programming ability as novice, while 14.3% rated them-
selves as intermediate.
