TRANSLATION AND INTERPRETATION ARE CHALLENGING

When we hear the words “translation” or “interpretation” we think about transformation process between 2 languages.
But I think translation and interpretation are beyond that. As even sometimes one cannot translate or interpret his true
feelings into words. I bet most of us have been misunderstood several times till today just because we couldn’t interpret our
real feelings or thoughts. Or sometimes we don’t know how to interpret people’s actions. For instance: Imagine a person
staring at his watch. First thing coming to mind is “he is hurrying somewhere, he has little time”. But how can we know that
he is not just lost in the deep memory of the watch as it is the present from her recently late mum or ex-girlfriend?
Women’s and men’s brains are completely different. Women usually think in details and react to things accordingly,
but men. And women mostly do not mean what they say. Let’s look at some situations.
Man: You ok?
Woman: Yeah, I am ok. (I am not ok. You even asking! Don’t you see how bad I am!)
Man: I want to hang up with my friends tonight.
Woman: Do how you wish. (You’ll pay for this later)
Man: What’s up?
Woman: We need to talk (I need to complain)
Man: You’re wrong, dear.
Woman: You have to learn to communicate (Just agree with me)
