Roman ruhiga singdirilgan mantiq - mas’ullik mantig‘i nafaqat har bir qahramon o‘zi uchun, hech bo‘lmasa yaqinlari, tug‘ishganlari uchun mas’ul degan tushuncha bolam, qo‘shnim, elim, ulusim, yurtim degan yuksak g‘oyalar sari etaklashi yoinki Vatan – uyingning ostonasidan boshlanadi, degan purviqor fikr ham aslida har bir qahramonni alohida shaxs sifatida, yakdillikda bir millat sifatida yuksaltirishga qaratilgan. The logic embodied in the spirit of the novel is the logic of responsibility, the notion that each hero is responsible not only for himself, but also for his relatives and friends, the child, the neighbor, the people, the nation, the country. The glorious idea that the Motherland begins at the threshold of the house is in fact aimed at raising each hero as an individual, as a nation in unity.
